i heard that they are starting to make the clothes smaller because of the obesity that is in England today....but at the same time...they don't realise that making the clothes smaller is making the normal size girls feel conscious about themselves and want to lose weight because THEY feel fat....which isn't the case!! Really?! That's just stupid, that's just going to make the situation worse, like about what you said about making people feel even worse about themselves. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if clothes are too small on girls then they are going to start believing they're fat. Yes I understand obesity is a problem but making clothes smaller is going a bit too far in my opinion. Surely there's got to be more effective ways to tackle obesity than that

that is better than that any day. IMO but honestly - i'd rather be anorexic than look like beth ditto. and if ANYONE says she's a good role model, you're all a bunch of hypocrites.

I much prefer the second pic to the first pic actually - looking at the first pic actually makes me sick. The second one is much better than the other two you posted.

I don't think BMI should be the standard for this. Some people have big bones and this added weight could match their BMI but they could still have too low fat content (cause we do need some fat). Just to stop you, there is actually no such thing as big boned. It's an excuse for fat people, yes I am fat but TBH it is an excuse. I never use it but speak to a GP there is no such thing.

Do teens really want their bones poking through their flesh? It's so nice to see what you have to do to be beautiful nowadays.

I wish people would wake up and realize that showing bones is just not attractive. Like your friend, she's already thin but wants to be thinner...um why? Noone really wants to see someone's ribs, just put them away ladies seriously
