The daleks never will die no matter how many times they are killed. They are the Doctor's ultimate enemy. I disagree about the Rose bit. The Doctor has to live on, hundreds of years and his human companions are going to die or move on. He can never see Rose again so it is as though she has died. The Doctor has to move on. I'm guessing that there has been a bit of a gap between The Christmas Invasion and Smith and Jones where hes been travelling on his own.

The first episode was Rose not the christmas invasion...anyways yes but even so if you love someone you dont forget about them and move on to the next one straight away...thats what i mean by i hope he doesnt fall for Martha.

I meant the Runaway Bride not the Christmas Invasion. And yes I don't think he should move on too quickly but I want it to happen eventually.

But why do you want him to be with Martha? The way i see it, he's already had a relationship of some sort with Sarah Jane woman (seen in School Reunion), and he loved Rose so i dont think he should fall in love with every single woman he travels with cause it would be unrealistic and we wouldnt like him much, cause he just falls for every single woman he travels with.

Well I don't see a relationship with the Doctor as a normal one because of his never ending life. I feel that as long as he leaves some time to get over Rose then it's alright because he has to feel like he can move on each time and not dwell on the past too much. If you watch the old episodes throughout the first 8 regenerations of the Doctor, he's had loads of companions. He just has to move on each time because he has to live on without them.

I, like Dawn, already prefer Martha. She is a more...realistic companion. I felt that towards the end of Rose's travels with Doctor that she was too grown up. I didn't believe that she was still 19. I loved Rose, like everyone who watches it does...but Martha just seems new...and fresh...and has a lot to give us....
...and the Doctor. He has had time to recover from Rose, although not long (Only his adventures with Donna and the Brigadier. =) ). And they haven't 'fallen in love' yet, they've only had one adventure.. so...the Doctor has hardly slipped out of Rose into Martha. She has been promised one trip and one trip only and then back home...so it's not like he 'wants' her.
In Episode 3 of this series, Martha says "You're taking me to the same planets you took her? Ever heard the word 'rebound'? This is actually show us that Rose is still close to the Doctor...and by then he'll have known Martha for 3 episodes. Also, in Smith and Jones, he carried Martha out...I liked that. She did save his life...
I'm crap at English...sorry.

We shall see. The thing i like about Martha is that she's clever, but Rose was witty! I also like Martha's tattoo! (Totally off topic!)

Yeah I like her tattoo too. If the football over runs on Saturday then Doctor Who will be cancelled until next week. I'm mad at the BBC for that at the moment. They should just have things run late and cancel something later.

I hate it when that happens....do you reckon it will be on youtube or somewhere where we can download it? If it doesnt air i mean. What i want to know is why the queen said he was her sworn enemy...the Queen he saw in the past was after her time...

Apparently we find out either this series or next. I can't remember which. Nope it will be shown next week if it isn't on on Saturday and all the episodes will be pushed back a week.

I dont think we'll find out on this Saturday's show cause they go in to the future...don't ya think he'd have to go to the past to find out about the queen hating him!

I'm going to be a misfit here and ask:
[stupid question] what is Doctor Who?
As far as I understand, it's a long-running (BBC?) science fiction television series. But if it's been on as long as I think it has, how can people still follow the plot? And also, is it like, a straight science fiction series or is it funny like say, a Terry Pratchett novel or Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?
[/stupid question]
