Ok so the album was out this week so what do you guys think of it?? What are you favorite songs? What should be the next single? And rate it if you can.  I haven't got mine yet (getting it thursday) but I've already heard it and I'm in love with 'Work' and 'Lies' - they need to be released as singles! I like the acoustic version of Chasing Lights where all the girls sing better then the one on the album but it's still a good song. Issues - yep loving that one. I love the lyrics to Keep Her but I'm not loving how its recorded and how you hear the voices, if you get what i mean? The album has a LOT of vanessa, she sings most of it lol So would have been nice to have more solos from the others. I really like 'Why me Why now' but I don't think it will be a very good single. Overall I'd say it's a pretty good album, there's upbeat songs and great ballads! So make sure you buy it haha!  I'd give it maybe an 8 out of 10...but that might change after I've got my own copy! |

lol, i actually got all the songs last week so i've listened to them quite abit! i love the album, but i think it should be called "Vanessa White, ft. Una & the other three saturdays" its like a solo album with backup vocals pretty much! FRANKIE NEEDS MORE SOLOS!!!! i totally agree with you on the chasing lights songs - acoustic version is way better my favorite songs on the album would have to be Fall & Work Least favorite, probably vulnerable - dont really know why tho. work should be the next single 9/10. |

i agree with Vanessa and Una taking most of if not all the solos.
i absolutely love the album. There's something about it that makes them sound more real compared to the other girl bands out there.
Fave songs would be fall, chasing lights and work.
Least favourite is vulnerable.
Overall i'd give it a 9.5/10

My overall opinion is that there is far too much Vanessa and also a little too much Una. There are at least three songs where they are the only singers. It would be good if they all had Rochelle's amount,as there's enough of her but not too much,so you love listening to her but you don't get bored with hearing her.
They all have brilliant voices,and that's what annoys me.If Frankie and Mollie couldn't sing and Rochelle was only OK,and Una and Vanessa were far superior,I wouldn't have a problem but they all have great voices so they should all get a fair amount. I really resent Frankie being a glorified backing singer as she is the only reason I'm following the band so obsessively.I went to the GA tour and was disappointed at the lack of Frankie in those four songs,but Mollie said there was much more of her and Frankie on the rest of it,so when I heard it all I was appalled to find she only sings in about three songs.
I'm sorry to rant about this so much on here but I'm scared to do it on the Sats' official forum as the most prominent members all love Una and worship Vanessa's voice,and have a go at anyone mentioning S club 8 even only in passing.And I don't want to get banned...
Otherwise,apart from the album version of Chasing Lights,and Issues,I love the album. My favourite songs are Up (single version,though) Fall, Vulnerable (I LOVE the chorus) and Lies. I want them to release Lies as a single,if only to give Frankie a chance to shine.

I really like the album there's a couple songs that kind of bore me.... but i also love 'Work' its really catchy and should definately be released as a single.
This is just my opinion but I really like Vanessa's voice but i think she would be better off in the R&B music scene.

I really like the album, but I think there are too many ballads...I prefer more upbeat songs. And I completely agree with everyone else that Frankie should get way more solos. She had loads in s club 8!
My favourite songs are up (but i prefer the single version), work and set me off. My least favourite is probably Why me, Why now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks there's too much Vanessa and Una...they both have great voices but its a girlband with 5 members and they're all talented, so it would be nice to hear the others especially Mollie and Frankie who we hardly hear!
Anyway have you guys seen the Exclusive Content on it???
I LOVE IT! It's sooo funny, Manic FraNik and The Scary Movie are my favorite bits. And Frankie trying to ride around on that little tricycle. haha!

I've not seen the exclusive content, but i'll definately watch it soon.
I totaly agree with everyone else, there is way to much Vanessa and Una on the album and Frankie and Mollie should get more solos. I still love the album though.

I bought the CD yesterday. I think it's amazing!
I love Chasing Lights, Lies, Up, Work, and If This Is Love. But Vanessa and Una sing waay more than Frankie, Mollie, and Rochelle.
