you have to wait till you have offers from the uni's before you put them in preference.

i totally missed this thread!!
anyway...help needed as i have just finished my final draft (personal statement) and me stupidity got it checked my 3 of my tutors looool (cos im paranoid) but now all of them are saying different things that need to go in...even one of my tutors crossed out nearly all my work and said half of the stuff that i put in wasnt relevant, but that was just one tutor....but who do i listen to?
i personally think my personal statement is good now and im confident about it! it just needs a few changes ....
what would you suggest me to do cos my deadline is tomorrow ....helpppp!!

If you're online later babes, you could send it to me if you wanted and I'll look over it. Other than that I'd go with what you're confident about, personal statements should be different and there's no point in putting what your tutor wants in it because it's all upto you and if you put what your tutor wants and your uni accepts it, it's likely you won't enjoy the course as uni's try and match personality with the course. i agree with redrose!
if you put what tutors say then it isn't yourself writing it, It won't be personal if you get what I mean. If your happy with it then go for it and send it.

I sent mine off yesterday...it's really scary! I keep worrying that I've done something wrong! And my personal statement was only 40 lines/3252 characters...do you think that's too short? I didn't have anything else to say lol
