I'm applying this year, but I'm going to defer my entry until 2009 so I can work and earn some money I want to do french and spanish, I'm going to some open days this month

I'm doing this at the moment too. I'm hopefully going to study French, Spanish and Italian. Personal Statement writing must be one of the most boring things we have to do this year!!

I did that in 2004...god that seems like ages ago...Before i applied via UCAS i did a questionnaire thing to see what would suit me. I had chosen what i wanted to do, Psychology, but i just wanted to see if my character and my skills were enough to get me into Psychology...and i was exstatic to find that Psychology was one of my options when i got the results back...although i did get a lot of language related options too but that was mostly because i've done lots of language studying in the past so it showed that my skills were mostly linked to languages. UCAS is the best though...its very helpful and quite straightforward to complete i think. Good luck everybody who's applying through UCAS!
