I've read about two to five fanfics about the same thing, they always make Stacey a kind of pyscho person: Always cutting her arms and stuff.
Do you think this is insulting?

I don't think it's insulting but i think it's very weird that someone would right stuff like that about Stacey, it's kind of worrying as well

i don't think it's insulting cause it's a fanfic.. and everyone has their own story plans on how the story would go.. Or maybe they just wanna have a bit of drama in it or something.. So, i don't think it's really that insulting..

i don't believe it's insulting at all. although we know that the stories aren't true, it shows us the reality that celebrity life isn't all that glamarous. i mean even if in the story she's not famous we can still kinda think that it's a little real and maybe we can relate to it. not relate in the way that we would hurt ourselves but in the way that these "celebs" are just people like us with problems.

I agree with Vannie. I mean as fanfiction writers we have to write about what keeps peoples attention. And sometimes stuff like that does the trick. I know Cora was the first person I ever saw write about Stacey cutting herself and then I wrote about it. It's real. When you write like that you have to think about how people will take it. I know when I was writing I was making my self sick, cause I'm kind of scwimish(sp?) at the sight of blood, and just thinkning about it. I don't think the people who write about her cutting herself are trying to put her in a bad light, cause the people who write about her, LOVE HER!!!!! I know I do!!!!!!!

I agree with all of you, it's not insulting at all. I think it's a bit strange that quite many people make Stacey a kind of mean and immature person in their fan fics, though. But as you've all already said - it's not true and it's not real. Maybe they just write things like that because they like her a lot? When I see a film for example, then I always want things to happen to my favourite character. As long as they don't die, I don't mind them getting hurt It makes it a good story. So if they choose Stacey to do things like that or to get hurt, it's probably just 'cause they really like her. I don't mean that they would ever want it to happen in reality, but in their stories. That's what I think anyway.

At the end of the day, it's fan fiction so they can have it anyway they want. I think it's flattering that they are actually taking the time to write the fiction in the first place and including Stacey in it.
