did a-teensfans hate sc7? did they call sc7 'posers', 'wannabes', or 'rip-offs'? the reason i'm asking is cuz right now, rbdfans call the new sc7, La Nueva Banda Timbiriche, those names.

Umm, I don't think that they did. Or maybe I just didn't hear of it, and I'm sorry. I remember when SC8 used to get called names like that.

I don't really remember A teens being that big in the uk, I think most people were s club 7 fans. I guess everyone's just going to defend the band they like though.

I was a big steps fan (although not anymore...) and I didn't hate s club 7. I liked them as well. But maybe some people did. I can see why they would.

I can see why they would. why would some steps-fans hate sc7? i can understand that they're both dance-bands, boy/girl bands, and the similarities with names "Steps" and "S Club 7". but still, why?

Because they didn't like the way the other band were "muscling in" (if that's the right word) on the other band's success, I'm guessing. If steps were around first then perhaps steps fans thought s club 7 were trying to copy steps and steal some of their fans?
