Gustav, Ike and other storms

Isn't it horrible how many tropical stors there currently are? Can you imagine having to leave your house all of a sudden to escape from a tornado? It must be horrible!
And all the damage there is, people who got killed or hurt... Families that suddenly loose members, house that have been destroyed...

Some people say that people shouldn't live in areas where there often are tornados.

What do you think?

I agree, it must be really hard having to go away and not knowing if your house will still be there when you get back.
But you can't really help living in an area where there are often tornados or hurricanes or whatever because no one used to be able to predict when or where they were going to happen and towns got built up.
