When I try to import some video in to Windows Movie Maker, it won't do it and it comes up with "unspecified error". They are still mpg files and play normally on windows media player. Does anyone know what the problem is?

I had that problem once but i didnt quite work out what was wrong. I think i once read somewhere it just means the file wasnt downloaded properly... not exactly sure if that true so dont quote me on that.
if anyone knows any other problem it maybe then say cause im not too sure i am right!! x

It sounds to me like some part of the video is corrupt, it will play in media player because that application has wider parameters but, movie maker is less ambigious. Try downloading it again if you haven't already

In which case, it may be the movie maker which is corrupt. Have you made other videos on it recently?

Then it seems to me the link you had for the video is corrupt which, would make sense if you're able to make videos now
